What is a story, anyway? (Easy to identify one when you read it in a book, more challenging when you have to come up with one yourself.)

How do you use stories in marketing?

How do you make those stories relevant and interesting to your audience — while serving your purpose as a business owner?

And finally, how do you not RUN OUT of stories to feed the relentless content machine???

It’s a lot of ground to cover, and we’re going to need every minute of the 3 hours of this workshop to cover it.

In Un-Bore Yourself II, you’ll learn basic storytelling techniques to make even the most boring and mundane story more interesting, plus my favorite trick to keep readers engaged and turned on. You’ll write a simple story and practice those techniques for yourself.

Then you’ll take what you’ve learned and apply it to your marketing and content.

You’ll leave with at least 2 story-driven pieces of marketing content that you’ve written out during the workshop, and, time permitting, workshopped a bit, plus 3 strategies to generate new stories for your marketing and never run out.

We all have a few core messages we need our potential customers to hear. And we need to tell them over and over so those messages

b) sink in

In this 3-hour Zoom workshop, you’ll learn the elements of a story and how to tell a good one, and then use that foundation to generate RELEVANT stories for our marketing.

You will bring one key message you want to work on, something you know you’ll be talking about for some time to come, and something that’s lost a little of its shine.

Together, we’ll find new ways to share that message through storytelling, no yawns needed.
